

The film was rescued from obscurity in 2007 when it was released on DVD by Wild Eye Releasing. If anything, it's a good concept that could be better executed if revisited in the future with a bigger budget and a more polished script. Instead, it's a nice little workman-like effort that can hold a viewer's attention for the duration of its 75 minute run-time. It was directed by John Newland and Buzz Kulik, and it starred Arthur Kennedy, Teresa Wright, and Tom Happer.As such, Crawlspace falls short of being a nice little unsung classic. Crawlspace was a TV movie, adapted from Lieberman's novel.


When he grew up, he worked at the New York Reader's Digest Book Club. Lierberman, as a teenager, used to work at a soda pop shop. Lieberman married Judith Barsky, and they have one daughter, and twin granddaughters. He is a former managing editor of the Reader's Digest Book Club. In 1977 he won the Grand Prix de Littérature Policière's International Prize for City of the Dead. He received his AB from City College of New York and his AM from Columbia University. She married Abraham Lieberman, of New Rochelle, New York. Liberman's mother was an orphan who fled Romania and came over to America on the Lusitania. Herbert Henry Lieberman (born Septemin New Rochelle, New York) is a mystery/crime novelist and playwright.
